Our Story
Donny Minchillo, Pineapple Development co-founder, started his eCommerce career in the early 2000s, as eBay and Amazon were emerging as eCommerce leaders. After founding a regional daily deals platform (similar to Groupon) and serving as Director of eCommerce at two other online retail companies, he decided to go all-in on the future of retail.
In 2014, he started serving clients as a Magento developer, and in 2018, Pineapple Development was founded with a network of other Magento developers around the world.
Today, Pineapple Development is a strong team of 12. All of our developers have at least five years of eCommerce development experience, and our senior developers have 10+ years of experience. Our technical project manager started as a developer himself and has four years of project management experience.
Our goal has always been to provide innovative, future-proofed solutions for online retailers, and to build stable, easy-to-use websites that help businesses grow and thrive. We’re focused on providing best-in-class customer service and proactive project management, for a seamless and maybe even enjoyable web development experience.
